Romantic Surprise DC Proposal At The Morrow Rooftop Hotel

Photographing Eric’s surprise proposal to Andrea was such a wonderful experience. Eric planned the ultimate surprise proposal in the Nation's capital and let's just say the moment was EPIC.

The Surprise DC Proposal Backstory

Eric reached out to to photograph his proposal while he and Andrea were in town for Thanksgiving. Andrea's family is originally from Maryland and the couple currently live in Miami Florida. He enlisted the help of Nikksevents, a Luxury Proposal event planner. Eric did such a great job with keeping everything under wraps especially considering that they were from out of town!

The Surprise DC Proposal Location

Eric chose The Morrow Hotel in Washington, D.C. because of its elevated and modern designs, and it has stunning panoramic views of the city landmarks. The rooftop views were exactly what Eric had in mind for his surprise proposal to Andrea.

The Surprise DC Proposal Details

Eric planned a beautiful proposal, with ton of red roses, decorated backdrop heart shaped with a neon "Will You Marry Me?" sign and it was surrounded by candles and sparklers! He also had a musician play their favorite song while he proposed to Andrea. Andrea was completely surprised and said a tearful "YES!" Whats more is that Eric invited his family and her family to be part of this special moment. It was truly magical to witness!
